Residential Tenancy Authority (RTA)
A tenancy agreement does not automatically end as a result of a natural disaster (e.g. flooding, cyclone, bushfire), even if the property is is damaged or non-liveable. REIQ
The REIQ has compiled an Disaster Information Page which includes a Disaster Toolkit (PDF, 7.2 MB), a well written and informative document that is available to download for non-members and members. Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC)
The QBCC has links to a wide range of building related information in Rebuilding after a natural disaster.

Local Government Links
Many local councils have added resources on their websites for residents to prepare and respond for natural disasters. These also contain useful information specific people living in their local council area.
